Job Description

The Senior  Power BI Developer will lead advanced dashboard development and business intelligence (BI) initiatives in support of operational and strategic decision-making for the Outform Group. The role is responsible for transforming complex datasets into interactive reports, managing large-scale KPI dashboards, and mentoring junior analysts. This position will work closely with key stakeholders from staff sections to design impactful, data-driven solutions.

Responsibilities :

• Utilize Power BI Copilot and other AI tools to streamline and enhance BI development processes and also to create powerful visualizations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and iterate on reports using stakeholder feedback.
• Design and implement data modeling concepts to support BI solutions (e.g., star schema, snowflake schema) and data warehousing principles.
• Experience in connecting to and extracting data from various data sources with an emphasis on ensuring data accuracy and consistency (e.g., SQL Server, Azure SQL Database, Excel, CSV).
• Develop and maintain refresh pipelines, gateway configurations, and PowerApps/Power Automate workflows.
• Optimize Power BI reports and dashboards for performance and usability.
• Excellent SQL skills for data querying and manipulation.
• Understanding of data security and governance principles.
• Develop and maintain documentation for BI solutions, including data models, reports, and dashboards.
• Ensure compliance with organizational data governance standards and policies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications :

• Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Power BI Developer using Microsoft Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, Power Query (M) and DAX in a data analytics or BI development role.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience with advanced analytics and machine learning concepts within Power BI.
• Minimum of 5 years working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O data model.
• Data Modeling: Star/Snowflake schemas, normalized structures.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or R for data analysis and visualization.
• Experience with data integration tools and processes.
• Microsoft Power BI certifications (e.g., PL-300).
• Experience managing and configuring Power BI workspaces and user access controls.
• Familiarity with cloud-based BI platforms (e.g., Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake) is a plus.
• A problem solver and troubleshooter who thrives in resolving complex problems.
• Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
• Superior organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
