THE WORK We are looking for a skilled and self-motivated Shop Technician who is looking for a challenging and diverse work environment while contributing to the development of innovative solutions. In this role you will be responsible for: Troubleshooting and repair/overhaul of general aircraft components such as landing gear, wheels, pumps, brakes, actuators, engine mounts, valves and like components, the operation of various test equipment including high pressure hydraulic stands, actuator stands and precision measuring equipment, and the return of the component back to service in an airworthy condition. Quality workmanship and attention to detail is a must. This position reports to the Shop Manager. Desired Skills: • Aircraft hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic component experience a plus. • An aerospace technical degree or higher is a plus. • Recent FAA A&P graduates are encouraged to apply. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
