As we continue to grow our brand presence, we are looking for a creative and motivated Social Media Coordinator to join our team on a part-time basis.

We are seeking a Part-Time Social Media Coordinator to manage and grow La Boulangerie’s social media presence across various platforms. This role is ideal for a passionate storyteller who understands brand voice, audience engagement, and the latest social media trends. The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker with strong content creation skills and the ability to analyze performance metrics to optimize engagement.

This is a part-time, temporary role. You must be located within the San Francisco Bay Area and be able to travel to our cafes in San Francisco.

What You'll Do

  • Develop, curate, and post 12 - 15 monthly engaging posts across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other relevant platforms.
  • Work with the Brand Manager and Head of Cafes to create and execute a content calendar aligned with marketing campaigns, seasonal promotions, and brand initiatives.
  • Capture high-quality photos and videos of products, in-store experiences, and behind-the-scenes moments.
  • Write compelling captions and ensure all content reflects La Boulangerie’s brand voice and aesthetic.
  • Engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.
  • Monitor social media trends, competitors, and industry insights to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to align content with business goals.
  • Track and report on key performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
  • Create marketing materials to promote the brand and events at the cafes, including limited-time offers and seasonal launches.
  • Seek out community events to drive brand recognition and awareness.
  • Share monthly performance results and insights with the team.
  • Develop and manage partnerships with brands and micro-influencers to expand brand reach.

What You'll Need

  • 1-3 years of experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing.
  • Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, including platform algorithms and best practices.
  • Experience with basic photography and video editing tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar).
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva to create marketing assets.
  • Excellent writing and storytelling skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Passion for food, hospitality, and storytelling.
  • Experience in CPG, food & beverage, or hospitality is a plus.
