The Intelligence Production Solutions Division (IPSD), part of the Decision Advantage Solutions Business Area, is currently seeking a, is currently seeking a Software Engineer (SWE) for the Chinook Program on the Advanced Analyst Augmentation Analytical Cloud Enablement System (4ACES) team. The responsibilities for this position include all aspects of the software development lifecycle including scope and work estimation, architecture and design, coding, and automated testing within an Agile model.
The position combines software development and Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) administration skills, providing on-the-job training (OJT) where you will configure, document and configuration control Databricks resources (e.g., users, workgroups, compute pools, clusters, and related JSON) and AWS resources (e.g., S3 buckets and IdAM policies). Using software development skills, you will support automation opportunities (e.g., new reports; administration productivity tools) and service metrics collection and reporting. The position supports multiple Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) Databricks deployments (shards) with 400+ users and data scientists located worldwide. You will collaborate with customers, user workgroups, and vendors to manage the 4ACES platform.
