Software Engineer - Fraud Impact As our Software Engineer on the Fraud team, you will develop anti-fraud solutions using Golang, Kafka, Postgres, Redis, and Terraform. Your responsibilities include building internal tools, integrating rules engines, and implementing controls to enhance security against malicious actors. You will collaborate with a team of 6 engineers and other departments. What You’ll Need to Be Successful 2+ years of experience in software development within Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), microservices, or distributed systems. Proficiency in designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining application code using object-oriented programming languages. Experience in designing scalable and maintainable architecture. Ability to analyze metrics to inform implementation decisions. Strong collaboration skills across teams. Excellent problem-solving skills and intuition. Ownership of all aspects of your services. Passion for mentoring and sharing knowledge. Strong understanding of REST principles and API design. Ability to work with complex data models. Work Arrangement This role offers a hybrid work model, with flexibility to work from home or in-office in Birmingham, San Francisco, or Minneapolis, depending on role requirements and leadership approval.
