Responsibilities:

As a Solar Sales Associate, your primary responsibility will be to engage with residential utility customers in Maine (businesses on the side), roughly 35 hours weekly, plus commuting. You'll educate them about:

• the advantages of subscribing to a local community solar farm, emphasizing the environmental benefits and cost savings (renters, small businesses and home owners)
• rooftop solar, and help schedule consultations for home owners who seem eligible

Success in this role as a sales representative will provide someone with the opportunity to move up into leadership roles..

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
• Sales Experience: Previous sales experience, especially in the energy sector, is a plus but not mandatory.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse customers.
• Self-Motivated: A self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
• Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to a dynamic and evolving industry.
