One of our partner companies is currently looking for a Staff Business Data Analyst (Search Performance) in the United States .

We are seeking a data-driven, strategic thinker with deep eCommerce and analytics expertise to join a high-impact team focused on optimizing search performance and user experience. As a Staff Business Data Analyst, you will work closely with enterprise clients to analyze web analytics, A/B test results, and product search data. Your insights will help shape search strategies, AI feature adoption, and platform enhancements tied directly to business metrics like conversion rate and revenue. You'll also support pre- and post-sales teams with compelling ROI analyses, while driving thought leadership and data storytelling for strategic accounts.

Accountabilities:

• Analyze 1st- and 3rd-party data to evaluate search performance and user behavior
• Deliver clear recommendations based on A/B tests, web analytics, and query data
• Link technical performance to business metrics such as revenue, CLV, and conversion
• Guide clients on AI feature configuration and search optimization strategies
• Conduct ROI assessments to support expansion, renewal, and upsell opportunities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, engineering, and product
• Share insights and best practices internally to support customer success and sales enablement

• 7+ years of experience as a business or data analyst, ideally in eCommerce
• 5+ years working cross-functionally with sales, CSMs, engineers, and customers
• At least 2 years of experience optimizing search relevance and ranking
• Strong skills in analyzing structured/unstructured data, web analytics, and A/B testing
• Business-focused mindset with excellent storytelling and communication abilities
• Familiarity with scripting languages and performance evaluation metrics (e.g., nDCG, MRR)
• Bonus: knowledge of recommender systems, LLMs/SLMs, and machine learning model evaluation

• Competitive base salary: $136,000–$173,000 USD
