Impact As a Staff Product Designer, you will lead the definition and delivery of product design projects from concept to launch, ensuring products are innovative, functional, and user-centric within our Membership & Marketplace arena. You will contribute directly to Shipt's consumer product strategy and define the future of our service. Additionally, you'll provide guidance and mentorship to designers, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement, while raising the bar in design quality. What You'll Need to Be Successful 7+ years experience designing consumer web and mobile experiences, e-commerce experience is a plus Portfolio with case studies demonstrating ideation through to final solutions impacting customers and the business Strong communication and presentation skills to clearly and persuasively communicate and defend complex design ideas, influencing peers and leaders Proven leadership in visual design with strong attention to detail High standards for design excellence in a fast-paced environment Ability to collaborate with product and engineering teams to identify requirements, use cases, and user journeys for complex products, owning the success of your product Skill in illustrating and communicating complex design solutions through frameworks, flowcharts, wireframes, prototypes, and mock-ups Ability to leverage research, user testing, and market analysis to create user-centered designs Experience iterating on and delivering high-quality user experiences throughout the product development lifecycle Experience maintaining detailed design documentation including specifications and style guides Experience presenting work to stakeholders for review and feedback Ability to articulate a compelling vision for your product area and influence partners to realize it Work Arrangement Shipt considers candidates near a Shipt office or workspace in Birmingham, San Francisco, or Minneapolis to be hybrid, offering flexibility to work from home (with leader approval) or at an office.
