TapHere is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Systems Engineer III to join our team in New Orleans, LA supporting Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic (NIWC-A). Experience Required: Seven (7) years of IT professional experience overseeing the creation of hybrid software, web and virtual or physical hardware products from initial specifications to final rollout and maintenance. Experience in software architecture and in hosting applications integrating various network operating systems, application programs and virtual or physical hardware devices through system specification, design, coding, testing and maintenance support. Consideration of overall project design including cost and schedule associated with a project. Specific Experience: Three (3) years of technical experience in support of systems engineering or systems administration within an enterprise hosting environment in the cloud in support of multiple interconnected systems and enterprise managed services. Experience may be achieved simultaneously. Notable experience supervising and/or mentoring lesser experienced personnel. Required Certification(s): At least one (1) of the following; CompTIA Security+ or CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP) or Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP). At least one (1) of the following: IEEE CS Software Development Professional or with COR approval complete a vendor/platform specific certification such as: Microsoft role-based certifications, Microsoft Certified Application Developer (MCAD), Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA), Red Hat Certification Program (RHCP) role-based certifications, CISCO Certified Network Professional (CCNP), CISCO Certified Design Professional (CCDP), Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE), Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), VMWare Certified Professional (VCP), Citrix Certified Administrator, or Cloud certifications such as AWS Architect, Developer, and SysOps Professional, Agile Developer certification or Certified Scrum Developer certification or other certifications relevant to the role and as approved by the COR. Plus: Candidate shall be certified as Information Assurance Management (IAM) or Information Assurance Technical (IAT) or Information Assurance System Architect and Engineer (IASAE) Level III.
