What's It Like to Be a Teacher with Us?
As a teacher, you'll play a vital role in supporting students throughout their educational journey. You'll work directly with students to offer personalized encouragement and guidance. Your contributions will help create a positive, team-oriented environment focused on student success and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Homeroom Team:
Provide weekly accountability and encouragement for students.
Customize additional learning opportunities to meet each student's needs.
Collaborate with parents via email, offering support and assistance as necessary.
Community Team:
Opportunity to work with students in both large and small group settings.
Create engaging lessons and activities designed to inspire learning.
Student Success Team:
Mentor students in specific courses, offering guidance and support.
Tutor students in subjects where needed.
General:
Identify students who may need additional support and coordinate interventions.
Collaborate with fellow teachers to provide expertise and resources.
Qualifications:
Current teaching certification.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
A deep understanding that each child is unique and benefits from personalized learning.
A kind, personable, and helpful demeanor with exceptional organizational skills.
Comfortable using Google products (email, calendars, documents, sheets, etc.).
Eagerness to learn and adapt to various online tools and systems.
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
Access to a smartphone, high-speed internet, computer, and webcam.
Availability of 15-20 hours per week, during core business hours (10am - 3pm MT), with responsibilities in clubs or as a mentor depending on your role.
Eligibility to work in the U.S. (work from any pre-approved location).
Experience in non-traditional educational settings is a plus.
Additional Information:
Hourly pay starting at $22 (based on experience and qualifications).
