Job Description

Our client, a leading global financial institution, is looking for Training Specialists to assist in the training of their lockbox team that is responsible for high-volume document processing. It is a high energy and team-oriented environment. You'll deliver impactful training to associates and leaders, and help integrate emerging technologies into their operations. This Trainer role is a long term temporary, fully onsite role at our client's location in downtown Chicago.

Schedule and Pay Rate:

2nd Shift (3:30pm-11:00pm*) - $31.74/hr

3rd Shift (11:30pm-7:00am*) - $33.18/hr

*Homebase hours - flexibility with hours will be needed based on the business's peak training needs.(Please note that the first 2-3 weeks will be facilitated during 1st Shift hours for the initial training of this role.)

Duration: Long-term temporary, 5 months, with a high possibility for extension.

There is possibility for Permanent conversion as well, but no timeline or guarantee

Job Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate classroom, virtual, and floor huddle training sessions to support operations.
  • Provide evaluation and feedback to develop new hires and existing employees on job performance and skill acquisition.
  • Independently manage ongoing training programs; assess and recommend changes to training programs and provide input into the development of new training programs.
  • Schedule training, coordinate resources, and maintain records of training sessions and participants.
  • Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness by deploying measurement and feedback tools.
  • Leverage subject matter experts to create accurate, realistic, and engaging training material.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with management to ensure that the training curriculum addresses gaps and needs.
  • Support the operation sites during system and production implementation of new procedures and processes.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Relevant Bachelor’s degree or equivalent four-year practical experience in an operation/production, finance institution, or fast-paced business environment.
  • Minimum two years of experience in technical and soft skill training and development.
  • Professional instruction and presentation skills.
  • Ability to effectively deliver technical training content and facilitate discussion through interaction and engagement.
  • Knowledge of adult learning theories and training development methodologies.
  • Excellent communication (writing-focused), organization skills, and attention to detail.
  • Proficient competency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Flexibility in changing work schedules to accommodate operations, including weekends.

Security Clearance: Full federal clearance will be required during onboarding process.
