\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 12-hour shifts with 36 guaranteed hours per week
\n• 1:2 patient ratio maintained throughout all shifts
\n• Every other weekend required
\n• 2 years of Cardiac/CVICU ICU experience required - no neuro ICU experience accepted
\n• Travel experience required
\n• Must reside at least 75 miles from facility
\n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, BSN
\n• Must pass Relias EKG exam
\n• Navy blue scrubs required
\n• EPIC charting system experience preferred
\n• Will float within service line when needed
\n• No on-call responsibilities
\n• Contract length: 13-16 weeks preferred
\n• Time off restrictions: maximum 40 hours (5 days) total during contract, no time off first week
\n• Manage patients with acute heart failure, CHF exacerbation, post cardiac arrest, cardiogenic shock, and arrhythmias
\n• Perform ventilator management, arterial line management, pulmonary artery catheter management
\n• Work with specialized equipment including pacemakers, Impellas, balloon pumps, LVADs
\n• Handle vasoactive drips, central lines, dialysis, and PA/TVP catheter monitoring
\n• Care for pre-heart transplant patients and manage complex cardiac conditions

\nThis healthcare facility is a Magnet-designated teaching hospital and Level I Trauma Center with 1,266 staffed beds. The facility provides comprehensive cardiovascular intensive care services with a 20-bed CVICU unit maintaining a daily census of 14 patients. The organization offers extensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and specialized interpretation services to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
