RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Must have emergency department experience
• Must have current Alaska RN license • Must provide 2 fingerprint cards upon acceptance • Must have flu vaccination • No time off will be approved for holidays • Must live at least 50+ miles away from facility address • Coordinate and perform nursing care procedures for patients of all ages • Work independently and maintain complete accountability for all actions • Make clinical decisions independently during scheduled shifts • Delegate and supervise CNA/Tech staff appropriately • React calmly and make sound nursing judgments in emergent situations • Administer age-specific medications and therapeutics accurately • Complete thorough nursing admission databases and initial patient assessments • Document patient responses to care and maintain confidentiality • Participate in patient care conferences and provide discharge patient information • Must obtain BLS and PALS upon hire, ACLS within 6 months of hire date • TNCC/ATCN and NRP certification required within first 6 months depending on specialty area • Attend and participate in at least 50% of departmental staff meetings • Complete annual competencies and maintain certifications and licensure • One year clinical nurse experience preferred • Prior emergency department experience preferredFacility:
