Core Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Detroit, Michigan.

Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.

Emergency Department sees 200-300 patients per day. Patient population is all ages, but pediatrics is rare. High population of psych and critical patients. Only outsource burns and pediatrics. There are techs in the ED but due to staffing shortages they are not always readily available in every area. The schedule is created in six-week blocks and posted two weeks in advance. Please limit RTO and do not request more than 3 days consecutive PTO. Manager will be interviewing via phone.
