Registered Nurse (RN) | Long-Term Care Location: Brooklyn, NY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $972 per week Shift Information: 5 days x 7 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Certified Nursing Attendant Profession: Nursing Specialty: Long Term Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: All shifts available Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: No prior experience needed License: Client Certification as a Nursing Attendant Certifications: CPR certification preferred Must-Have: - High School Diploma or GED required - Ability to work in environments with dust, noise, etc. - Ability to hear, talk, walk, stand, bend, and stretch - Ability to read, write, and interpret documents - Ability to sit for long periods of time - Ability to stand for long periods of time - Effective communication skills Description: Provides direct patient care and related support. Performs routine personal care to patients in a timely, safe, and effective manner. Care may include bathing, shaving, brushing teeth, dressing patients, and attending to all their personal care needs. Prepares patients for meals, feeds and/or assists with feeding as necessary. Empties bedpans and collects urine and other specimens. Transfers patients to and from bed and/or chair via one-person transfer, two-person transfer, and use of a Hoyer lift. Takes accurate vital signs, temperatures, pulse, and respirations. Records all necessary information according to policy and procedure. Performs range of motion exercises using proper technique. Assists patients in walking and transporting patients by means of wheelchair or stretcher. Performs other related duties as assigned.
