Prokatchers is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Utica, New York.

Salary: $2,550.28/week.

Medical specialty: Medical Surgical.

Standard shift: Nights

Weekly schedule: 3x12

Shift Timings: 06:30 PM to 07:00 AM.

Floating Required: Yes.

Scrub Color: Navy Blue

EMR Experience: EPIC

Common Diagnosis: CA diagnosis, Oncology, Hematology, ESRD, Diabetes, GI, Abdominal Pain, Dermatology, General Medicine.

Specialty Equipment: IV pumps, NG tubes, Chest tubes, specialty beds (sand beds).

Required Drips & Medications: Heparin, Lasix and chemo.

Description:
Must be 75 miles away from the facility.
Oncology, Hematology, Nephrology, Endocrine, GI, Dermatology, and General Medicine.
Provides specialized care to critically ill patients across various intensive care units (ICUs) as needed.
They assess patient conditions, administer medications, and manage complex treatments, including life support systems.
RNs in this role collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement care plans, monitor patient progress, and respond to emergencies.
They ensure accurate documentation and provide support to both patients and families during critical situations.
Flexibility and expertise in various critical care settings are essential for this position.

Required Skills & Experience:
Minimum 02 years' of Med/Surg experience required.
Oncology Experience is required.

Education:
Required Education:
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.

Minimum Degree Required:
Associate's Degree (Community College, MBO)

Preferred Education:
Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing Board Approved Program

Required Certifications & Licensure:
Current NY State RN License with NURSYS Report Licenses verification required.
BLS, ACLS and NIHSS required.
