Registered Nurse (RN) | Stepdown Location: Klamath Falls, OR Agency: Job.com Pay: $2,450 to $2,500 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Description: Our Stepdown unit is a fast-paced environment where you will play a critical role in providing exceptional care to patients who require close monitoring and intervention. You will be the bridge between the ICU and Med/Surg floors, making a significant impact on patient outcomes. ⚕️ Your Role & Our Patients: You will care for a diverse patient population with diagnoses including: Cardiac conditions & post-cath/pacer procedures ❤️ Pneumonia (PNA) & COVID patients ETOH withdrawal ICU downgrades Please note: This unit does not handle open heart patients. Common Drips You'll Manage: Insulin, Heparin, Cardizem, Nitro, Amiodarone, Dopamine, and Dobutamine. Scheduling & Other Details: Shifts: 12-hour shifts (specific times: 0545-1815 / 1730-0615). Weekends: Required, typically every other weekend. Holidays: Required. Call/Standby: None! ❌ Floating: Not required, but may be requested if your skill set aligns and you are agreeable. Scrub Color: No specific color! We just ask for clean, professional attire. Requirements ✅ What We're Looking For (Must-Have Skills): BLS, ACLS A valid, unencumbered Oregon RN license or compact state license. Solid experience with telemetry and basic rhythm interpretation. Proven experience with cardiac drip titrations (e.g., Cardizem, Nitro, Amiodarone). Required: Experience titrating Insulin drips.
