Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a
Travel - Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST)
Shift : Nights / 6:30p-7a, 12x3, 36 hours per week, with holiday rotation, No call
Length : 13 weeks
Requirements:
2 Years Experience
BLS
Formal education required
NBSTSA - Unless candidate worked as a surg tech prior to 1/1/2008
Craniotomy, spine, open abdominal surgery cases experience preferred
Position / Specialty: OR CST
Shift: Will work 3x12s, nights, 6:30p-7a with holiday rotation
Weekend REQ: rotating weekends
Is on-call REQ? (Y/N): no call
Will this traveler need to float within scope to meet facility needs/float between like units/sister facilities? yes
Required/Preferred

Exp Preferred: craniotomy, spine, open abdominal surgery cases

Trauma Level REQ: Level 1 trauma
Hospital Highlights
The Main Operating Room is within a level-one, academic trauma center. There are 21- OR suites which cover all surgical specialties, to include; Trauma, Transplant, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, and Robotics. Please know that you may be expected to staff the full variety of cases that the Main OR supports. The nursing teams consists of 75% Registered Nurses and 25% Certified Surgical Technologist. RN's are trained to both scrub and circulate surgical procedures. The Main OR is a busy and dynamic nurse driven, Magnet designated department, that provides cutting-edge technology to the citizens of SC.
