Join Our Dynamic Rehab Team as a Registered Nurse!\n\n- Exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse in a Rehab focused unit.\n- Shift : Day 4x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30).\n- Block Schedules available!\n- Patient Ratio : 1:8 for days, nights, and weekends - ensuring quality patient care.\n- Experience : Minimum of 1 year in rehabilitation nursing preferred.\n- Prior Charge Experience is a plus!\n- Familiarity with Epic charting system preferred.\n- Experience in both Teaching and Community Hospitals preferred.\n- Exposure to LTAC and Trauma Level I & II settings is a bonus.\n- No travel experience required.\n\n Required Certifications: \n- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.\n\n Preferred Skills in Various Settings: \n- Acute Inpatient Rehab \n- IV Therapy : Starting and maintaining IVs, administration of blood & blood products, venous blood draws.\n- Cardiac Care : Management of conditions like angina, hypertension, and care post cardiac surgery.\n- Orthopedic Care : Involvement in total joint replacements and management of assistive devices.\n- Endocrine/Metabolic Management : Blood glucose monitoring and insulin protocol familiarity.\n- Respiratory Care : Experience with ventilated patients, incentive spirometry, and tracheostomy care.\n- Genitourinary/Renal Care : Managing chronic renal failure and Foley catheter removal.\n- Neurological Care : Assessing and treating neurological conditions.\n- Gastrointestinal Management : Handling feeding devices and NG tube management.\n\n Professional Skills and Responsibilities: \n- Conduct Diabetic Teaching and Fall Risk Assessments .\n- Implement Infection Prevention and Isolation Precautions .\n- Utilize Lift/Transfer Devices and focus on Patient Safety Goals .\n- Conduct comprehensive Pain Assessments and manage patient teaching.\n\n Weekend Coverage : Every other weekend for balanced scheduling.\n Patient Age Group : Adult patients primarily.\n\n Interdisciplinary Support : Work alongside dedicated IV teams and phlebotomy staff.\n\n Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol) :\nAt CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
