Currently, we are in search of an outstanding dental assistant to travel with our Oral Surgeon between offices located in Danbury, Newtown, New Milford, Shelton and Darien.

Specific job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Assist experienced dentists chairside, using four-handed dentistry
Preparation of treatment rooms, ensuring instruments and equipment are sterile
Breakdown of treatment rooms, ensuring all instruments are returned for sterilization promptly
Daily morning meeting and team schedule review, anticipating the doctor's needs in advance
Set up trays as indicated by the days' charts and doctor's anticipated needs
Greet, seat, and screen patients - communicating patient concerns effectively to the doctor
Take alginates, pour and trim models or scan utilizing the iTero scanner
Take diagnostic x-rays (PA, Bitewing, Panoramic, 3D/CBCT) as needed
Keep operatory fully stocked
Requirements:
Superior customer service skills, with the ability to infuse personality, empathy, and enthusiasm into each patient contact
Must be willing to travel between Danbury, Newtown, New Milford, Shelton and Darien.
Must have a minimum of 3 years experience chairside assisting in Oral Surgery & IV Sedation.
Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider, certified through the American Heart Association
DANB Radiation Health & Safety Certification
DANB Infection Control Certification
Willingness to learn & grow
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
