Job Description: Interaction/UX Sound Designer *fully remote in US* *PST Core Hours* Overview: We are seeking an Interaction Sound Designer to join our innovative Creative Audio team. We are looking for someone with a passion for sound for products to help us achieve this goal. As an Interaction Sound Designer, you will be part of a team of highly skilled creatives from diverse backgrounds and industries who are dedicated to crafting exceptional audio experiences. You will have access to state-of-the-art recording facilities at our internal studios allowing you to bring your audio vision to life. Additionally, you will be on the cutting edge of haptics design, exploring ways to bring a new dimension to experiences. Key Responsibilities: + Support complex interaction sound design projects through completion. + Map out haptics design patterns on Android and iOS devices. + Design custom haptic patterns using specialized tools. + Create unique, memorable, and landmark sonic experiences for a wide audience. + Use your proven understanding of interaction sound design to create UX sounds. + Develop mock-ups and prototypes. + Execute in a fast-paced and highly fluid environment. + Collaborate closely with other sound designers to ensure systems alignment across products. + Work closely with all partners to ensure the scope of work, planning, and execution of sound design and implementation. + Influence and contribute to sonic excellence to maintain quality and leverage existing resources for product consistency and efficiency. Minimum Qualifications: + Hands-on experience with Interaction Sound Design. + 3+ years of experience creating UX sonic experiences for products in mobile and hardware. + Experience creating original sound design for high-profile products. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills. + Expert skills in Pro Tools and/or other professional DAWs. + Understanding of human-centered design. + Ability to act on feedback quickly. + Experience testing the implementation of sounds. + Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. + Time-management and organizational skills to meet delivery specifications and deadlines. Preferred Qualifications: + Mobile audio experience. + Understanding of Design Systems and systems thinking. + Ability to mix in a variety of formats. + Video editing skills (Premier Pro, Final Cut, Avid, etc.) Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $50.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
