Foothill Farms Veterinary Hospital is looking for an experienced
Veterinary Assistant to join our team! Our nursing team plays a vital role in providing exceptional patient care, especially during anesthetic procedures and in delivering thorough client education.
In this role, you will assist during exams and treatments while coordinating with your team to manage the veterinarian's orders. You will work closely with your colleagues to ensure the highest standards of patient care while maintaining an efficient workflow to keep appointments and procedures on schedule. This position is ideal for those who have good basic nursing skills and excel in client engagement.
This is a full-time position with 8-hour shifts scheduled Sunday-Thursday. Full-time benefits and compensation**: - Compensation: $20-23 per hour, for each hour worked*

Minimum qualifications and skill set: - 3+ years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting
- Proficiency in the following skills:
- Venipuncture and administering injections
- Surgical set up and assistance
- Assisting with radiographs
- Inpatient nursing including collecting vital signs, keeping medical records and administering treatments as prescribed
- Familiarity with Cornerstone software and Fear Free patient handling is a plus!
