Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Videographer to help us tell the GEODNET story through compelling visual content. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of camera operation, lighting, sound, and video editing. You will play a key role in planning, shooting, and editing videos that showcase our technology, educate our community, and highlight the real-world impact of GEODNET.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, film, and edit high-quality videos, including product demonstrations, tutorials, interviews, case studies, and event coverage.
  • Operate and maintain video, lighting, and sound equipment.
  • Collaborate with marketing and technical teams to understand project goals and develop creative concepts.
  • Edit raw footage into polished, on-brand content for use across web, social media, and presentations.
  • Add graphics, animations, and subtitles as needed to enhance viewer engagement.
  • Organize and manage video content archives.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a videographer and video editor.
  • Proficiency with professional camera equipment (e.g., DSLR, mirrorless, or cinema cameras).
  • Strong skills in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar editing software.
  • Understanding of lighting setups, composition, and sound recording techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
  • Creativity and a passion for visual storytelling.
  • Bonus: Experience creating content for technical or emerging technology brands.
  • Degree in Film, Media Production, or related field preferred (Film school graduates strongly encouraged to apply).
  • Strong portfolio or demo reel required (applications without a portfolio will not be considered).
