Position Title: Warehouse Lead
Wage: $20.00/hour
Shift: 1st
Hours: 8:00am – 4:30pm

Warehouse Lead Responsibilities: - Maintain strong email and verbal communication with internal team members and external vendors
- Troubleshoot and resolve warehouse staff issues related to daily job duties
- Lead by example in order fulfillment: locate and pull customer order items using RF scanning devices
- Review and verify customer orders, ensuring all items are included and properly packaged for shipping
- Confirm accuracy of item quantities and ensure correct items are selected
- Utilize PaceJet and other shipping management systems to calculate freight costs and determine optimal shipping methods
- Inspect incoming products for defects and separate damaged items to designated areas
- Unpack and sort returned products appropriately
- Take photos of damaged product or pallets upon receipt and prior to unloading
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace throughout the shift
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided prior to use)
- Repair or assemble products upon arrival of replacement parts
- Pull inventory for pickers as needed and stock products in proper locations
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments regarding order release dates, damage reporting, and other operational needs
- Coordinate returns/claims processing professionally with vendors, suppliers, and shipping partners
- Assist with verbal translation between English and Spanish when necessary
- Provide coaching and mentorship to team members to improve performance and support professional development
- Demonstrate accountability and reliability by consistently meeting expectations and helping others do the same
- Motivate and engage warehouse associates, recognizing accomplishments and promoting a positive work environment
- Address conflicts and team concerns proactively and professionally
- Foster a high-performance team culture through effective communication, collaboration, and support
Requirements for Warehouse Lead: - 2+ years in a lead, supervisor, or team trainer role within a warehouse, distribution center, or manufacturing environment
- Proven track record in high-volume, fast-paced environments, consistently meeting or exceeding productivity goals
- Familiarity with general warehouse operations including picking, packing, and shipping
- Strong decision-making skills and ability to troubleshoot workflow issues
- Strong communication skills with the ability to provide feedback, instructions and updates to team members and leadership
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and compliance standards
- Hands-on experience with RF scanners, WMS systems, and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus
- Able to stand for the entire shift
- Able to lift up to 50lbs
- Able to perform repetitive motions and tasks
- Able to bend and twist occasionally
- Able to read and write in either English or Spanish (bilingual preferred)
