Job Title: Welder and Fabricator
Job Description

Layout, fit, fabricate, and assemble components for Heat Processing Equipment. The work includes assembly, dismantling, and repair activities.

Responsibilities

• Layout, position, align, and fit components together.
• Clamps and tack welds parts to secure proper positioning for welding.
• Set up equipment and weld parts using Stick, ARC, MIG, TIG, and alloy welding techniques as needed.
• Assemble parts by welding and riveting methods, ensuring structures are square and level.
• Perform tasks with sheet metal, including fabricating oven panels, spot welding, and applying insulating materials.
• Perform tasks such as welding, cutting, and grinding on plate and structural components.
• Repair or modify products through dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembly.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a weld and quick math test.
• Experience including bending metal and cutting angles.
• Fabrication is the main skill set.
• Certification not required.
• Must have worked on structural steel 1/4"+ gauge thick.

Work Environment

Manufacturing environment with a high noise level. Candidates must have work boots (steel toe not required). The position involves 25% welding and the rest of the time fabricating, building, prepping material, and installing insulation.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chino, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $29.00/hr.
