Duration: 12+ Months Contract
Max Pay: $28/hr

2ND SHIFT ONLY
Job Description :
Performs fabrication projects as well as basic maintenance for aircraft equipment and components.
Required Skill Set :
Two-year experience in manufacturing welding using Pulsed MIG, Short-arc MIG, or Submerged arc processes preferred.
ASME certification Preferred.
Ability to pass an onsite 6G certification test.
Knowledge of the welding process and equipment.
Ability to weld vertical, flat, and overhead welds with good penetration and a quality appearance.
Skilled in operating a plasma cutter and acetylene torches.
Math skills including fractions and angles.
Ability to read tape measures and angle finders.
Ability to read blueprint drawings and cut lists.
Good communication skills relative to supervisor and other related departments.
Trained in overhead crane operation.
Physical ability to work and weld in awkward positions such as kneeling, lying down, and overhead.
Ability to climb and work from a ladder.
Ability to operate various shop tools, including power and manually operated wrenches.
Education Qualification :
Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
