Responsibilities Manage and maintain Windows Server environments, including system installation, configuration, upgrade, and maintenance. Implement and manage Cisco Meraki solutions, including wireless, switching, security, and mobile device management. Perform system monitoring to ensure uninterrupted system availability, identifying any potential issues and implementing preventative measures. Provide technical support to clients, responding to system issues and troubleshooting problems as they arise. Maintain system security by managing firewalls, conducting penetration testing, and implementing appropriate security measures. Utilize VMWare, Active Directory, COMPTIA, and other tools to maximize system efficiency and performance. Develop and maintain system documentation, including configuration and procedural information. Conduct regular system backups and disaster recovery operations using Veeam. Use PowerShell for scripting and automation tasks. Maintain and troubleshoot LAN/WAN networks. Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends, making recommendations for system improvements as necessary. Qualifications A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Windows Systems Administrator, or in a similar role. Experience with Cisco Meraki solutions is essential. Proficiency with VMWare, Active Directory, COMPTIA, and PowerShell. Experience with penetration testing, desktop, cloud security, information security, and firewalls. Knowledge of RMM (Remote Monitoring and Management) tools. Experience with Veeam for system backups and disaster recovery operations. Strong understanding of LAN/WAN networks. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users. A relevant certification, such as a CCNA or MCSA, would be advantageous. A proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
