Job Title: Yard Driver

Key Responsibilities

• Operate yard truck to safely move trailers between dock doors and yard locations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure equipment safety and compliance
• Coordinate with warehouse and dispatch teams to maintain trailer flow
• Maintain accurate records of trailer movements and yard inventory
• Spot and retrieve trailers to support loading/unloading schedules
• Conduct routine checks for trailer readiness, including seal integrity and load security
• Report mechanical issues and assist with minor trailer maintenance
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies

Qualifications

• Valid CDL (Class A or B preferred, depending on company requirements)
• Previous yard driving or trailer spotting experience preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Must pass a drug test and background check

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $39520.00 - $43680.00/yr.
