About the Company & Opportunity:

• Our client is a leading nonprofit organization focused on providing services for individuals in terms of treatment support, housing, and family support

• This position will be fully on site in Downtown, Manhattan near many forms of public transportation.
• Extremely stable, over $100M operating budget, continuing to expand yearly
• Large but tight knit accounting department, internal movement is highly encouraged

Responsibilities of the Accounts Receivable Manager:

• Supervise the client Accounts Receivable department
• Monitors and performs all activities/ entries related to clients
• Provide support and education to the department, review and post all client AR related entries
• Train new staff members
• Analysis and preparation of all Revenue accounts and client AR related accounts.
• Assist with the month end financial reports closing
• Completes various financial, accounting, administrative, and other reports and analysis, and performs other duties as assigned or as necessary.
• Prepare monthly revenue schedule to be reviewed by the Controller for month end closing.
• Assist in year-end audits with external accountants.
• Maintain Company confidentiality at all times

Experience Preferred for the Accounts Receivable Manager:

• 5+ year in a similar Accounts Receivable role ideally working for a nonprofit organization
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel a plus
• Managerial skills is a plus
