A growing health system in Maryland is actively recruiting for an ACNO to lead their team. Reporting to the Vice President of Nursing, the ACNO will oversee all nursing operations, initiatives, and programs for the community hospital. Through promoting a collaborative culture, the ACNO will maintain a transparent working relationship with the Chief Nursing Officers, Service Line Leaders, and Nurse Directors to promote a unified approach to nursing education initiatives, research, identifying short and long term growth opportunities, developing quality performance improvement initiatives, updating policy procedures, maintaining hospital, state, and federal regulatory compliance, and preparing for upcoming accreditation and surveys. The ACNO will also continue to maintain a strong working relationship with the physicians, providers, and community partners. The ACNO must be a seasoned nursing professional with previous experience ideally in a vice president, service line leader, ACNO, or CNO role within an acute care hospital. Located just a stone’s throw away from Loch Raven Reservoir, the ACNO will enjoy an array of outdoor activities. In addition to spending time hiking and biking Loch Raven trails, the ACNO will also enjoy visiting historic museums, attending sporting events, and indulging at an array of delicious restaurants throughout the city. This city is home to many young working professionals and families. The hospital is located just outside the city, allowing the ACNO to live either in the city, or in one of the surrounding gorgeous suburbs of Maryland, West Virginia, Pennsylvania or Delaware.
