Job Description

Main Duties and Responsibilities: Plan and develop products of system integration services. Investigate new product lines and test them in our laboratory to evaluate if they meet customer requests. Maintain or obtain necessary certification to resale system integration products. Support Sales department to promote system integration services. Prepare accurate and self-explanatory sales presentations and proposals for presenting and explaining our products to customers. Provide customers with system integration service for designing, installing, maintaining, and improving their systems by working closely with them. Efficiently demonstrate and explain the operation and use of our products to customers. Select the correct products and assist customers in making product selections based on their needs, product specifications, applicable regulations, and applications. Troubleshoot regarding our customer’s systems. Keep customer data updated to share information with co-workers. Submit a report to the supervisor in a timely manner on progress and results of daily activities. Manage the daily work log and attendance of engineering staff. Conduct the 1st evaluation of engineering staff. Maintain engineering staff by orienting and training employees. Participate in the administration and maintenance of the remote monitoring and management system, including but not limited to updating agent scripts, responding to alerts, monitoring dashboards, and periodic system reviews. Work with sales teams and engineers for all projects to identify new products and solutions, and research solutions for existing clients. Document maintenance for all computer systems and network infrastructure. Communicate with customers as required to keep them informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes or agreed outages. Work alongside all engineers to ensure they acquire the necessary skill sets to perform their job functions and meet departmental and individual goals. Perform any and all other related duties as assigned by the company from time to time. Qualification / Requirements: Fluency in Japanese and business-level English. 5+ years of hands-on experience in the implementation of servers, networks, and other IT systems. Experience with SI project management. Ability to positively communicate with customers. Ability to report the results of troubleshooting. Understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives. Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to research systems issues and products as required. Ability to communicate efficiently in both technical and user-friendly language. Highly self-motivated regarding technology. Expertise in basic Cisco CLI commands for Cisco Catalyst switches and low-end routers. Able to perform IT-related basic mathematics, including subnet calculations, binary-hex-decimal conversions, and basic Boolean algebra calculations. Virus/Malware removal, troubleshooting BSOD, data recovery, user profile migration knowledge, both manually and using automated software. Strong basic networking knowledge: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wireless, VLANs, basic routing/switching, NAT, etc. VPN connectivity troubleshooting and configuration (Cisco, Fortinet, PaloAlto, IPSec). WAN Technology (SD-WAN, MPLS, VPN). vSphere, Hyper-V, and Terminal Services. Windows Server Administration (2012-2019), Domain, DHCP, DNS, and File share services. Security software knowledge, such as Anti-virus, Anti-SPAM, Anti-Spyware, and other security-related technologies.
