Job Description

We are looking for a Cyber Security / DLP Engineer to work for our client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage DLP policies using Microsoft Purview and other enterprise tools.
• Monitor and respond to security alerts and incidents using Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Identity, and Cloud.
• Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and mitigate threats.
• Collaborate with IT and compliance teams to ensure data protection and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and maintain security documentation, including incident response plans and standard operating procedures.
• Provide technical guidance on secure configurations, access controls, and encryption practices.
• Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or information security roles.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender (for Endpoint, Identity, Cloud Apps) and Microsoft Purview.
• Strong understanding of DLP concepts, data classification, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).
• Familiarity with SIEM tools, threat intelligence platforms, and incident response processes.
