At AdventHealth Shawnee Mission, formerly Shawnee Mission Medical Center, you're more than just a number on a chart. - *The role youll contribute:**
- *Cleans the cooking areas, utensils, and equipment in the kitchen, as necessary**
- *The value youll bring to the team:**
Washes and sorts flatware, serving dishes, china, and glasses.
Operates dishwashing machine.
Cleans and sanitizes all food preparation surfaces, counters and shelves in the kitchen following each meal.
Sweeps and mops floor in kitchen after each meal. Sweeps, mops, removes trash as assigned. Operates and cleans dish machine and assigned equipment per department procedures, including routine sanitizer solution and temperatures checks.
Qualifications
**The expertise and experiences youll need to succeed** **:**
High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
Previous food service experience desirable
May be required to obtain and maintain state specific certifications
Servsafe certification preferred
