Electrical Estimator

LOCATION: Houston, Texas

TYPE: PERMANENT

SALARY: $80k + additional package PER YEAR

The organisation has delivered high quality service while developing an unsurpassed reputation as a well-managed dependable company who provide industrial and commercial services for projects within Texas, they are looking to bring on an estimator to grow their team and work within their Dallas headquarters full time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Blueprint Analysis: Review and interpret blueprints to assess project requirements, such as wire lengths and outlet placements, ensuring compliance with electrical codes.
• Cost Estimation: Calculate the type, quantity, and cost of materials and fixtures needed for each project. Determine labour costs and assess the overall profitability of projects.
• Bid Preparation: Compile and submit competitive project bids, providing detailed breakdowns of costs and timelines. Offer solutions to enhance project profitability.
• Client Interaction: Communicate with clients to define project scopes, answer inquiries, and build strong relationships for ongoing customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree desirable.
• 5 years of experience in estimating projects in relevant fields
• Demonstrated ability to deliver a completed project on time and budget
• Strong communication skills
• Experience working with a team
