divh2Housekeeping Manager/h2pWe are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and motivational leader to manage our housekeeping department. The Housekeeping Manager directs the hotel housekeeping program to ensure clean, orderly, and welcoming conditions throughout the establishment. This role establishes standards and procedures for housekeeping staff, plans work schedules to meet brand standards and budget requirements, and collaborates closely with the front desk, management, and maintenance teams. Weekday and weekend availability is required. The Housekeeping Manager oversees both full-time and seasonal staff./ppResponsibilities and Duties:/pulliTeam Leadership:/liulliPlan, organize, and direct team members to ensure the highest degree of guest satisfaction./liliLead, manage, and mentor housekeeping staff to maintain quality standards./liliSupervise staff and participate in hiring and onboarding new employees./liliAssess staff performance, provide guidance and feedback, and take corrective action when necessary./liliSchedule and lead department meetings to communicate TRMF standards./li/ulliOperations:/liulliMonitor daily operations and delegate tasks to Property Managers and Supervisors./liliInspect rooms and shared areas daily for cleanliness and order./liliMonitor inventory and purchase supplies as needed./liliDevelop and maintain departmental budgets and control costs./liliCoordinate with other departments to meet housekeeping needs./li/ulliCompliance and Safety:/liulliEnsure adherence to safety and security regulations./liliSubmit recommendations for guest room repairs and public space improvements./liliEnsure compliance with OSHA and safety standards./li/ulliOther Duties:/liulliPerform additional duties as assigned to support hotel operations./li/ul/ulpRequirements:/pulliDemonstrated ability to interact effectively with people of diverse backgrounds./liliProven leadership skills and ability to build cohesive teams./liliExcellent time management and organizational skills./liliAbility to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment./liliStrong knowledge of housekeeping practices, techniques, and procedures./liliExcellent verbal and written communication skills; bilingual English and Spanish preferred but not required./liliCreative and efficient problem-solving abilities./liliIndependent judgment and solid decision-making skills./liliProven reliability, diligence, dedication, and attention to detail./liliFlexible schedule to meet the demands of TRMF seasonal operations, including days, weekends, and holidays./li/ulpEducation and Experience:/pulliProven experience as a Housekeeping Manager or similar role./liliPrior hotel management experience is a plus./liliKnowledge of OSHA and safety standards within the housekeeping department./liliWorking knowledge of cleaning utensils, dryers, washers, tools, fixtures, and cleaning solvents./liliBasic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite./liliAbility to learn and work with Opera property management software or similar system./liliValid Drivers License./li/ulpPhysical Requirements:/pulliAbility to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related machinery over sloping and uneven surfaces./liliFrequent walking and standing for entire length of shift./liliFrequent climbing of stairs./liliAbility to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, stooping, kneeling, and carrying./liliAbility to stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods./liliAbility to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination./liliOccasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds./liliVisual acuity sufficient to inspect cleanliness of rooms and surfaces./liliReasonable accommodation provided for qualified individuals with disabilities./li/ulpWork Environment:/pulliHotel environment with a mix of guest rooms and public spaces./liliTeam includes full-time and seasonal staff./liliCollaboration with front desk, maintenance, and management teams./li/ulpPerformance Metrics:/pulliGuest satisfaction scores./liliCleanliness audit results./liliBudget adherence./liliStaff retention and engagement./li/ul/div
