General Information
● Location: Piscataway, NJ - (2 Days, WFH)
● Department: HR - Global Learning, Design & Development
● Reports To: Global Learning, D&D Learning Experience Manager
● Works independently with some guidance, collaborates effectively with teams, can pivot quickly.
● Contract length: ~2-3 months
● Start date: July 7th, 2025
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced instructional designer to join our Global Learning Design & Development Team for a short-term assignment. This person will collaborate with global learning teams and functional stakeholders supporting Global Supply Chain to design / develop measurable learning solutions.
Design & Develop
● Designs effective learning programs tied to business goals, focusing on real-world application
● Designs coursework: ILT/virtual decks / guides, elearning, digital activities (EdApp), animations, communications, videos, job aids, etc.- aligned to instructional design & visual branding standards
● Creates/Writes scripts, storyboards, outlines, and other design docs using templates
● Develops measurable learning objectives & content linked to performance needs/Kirkpatrick levels
● Develops/curates learning paths in learning experience platform
● Schedules feedback sessions & revise designs through multiple rounds with project teams
● Creates/maintains project plans (Monday.com experience a plus)
Team Communication, Collaboration & Ad Hoc / Admin Support
● Articulates learning needs and proposed ideas to various project teams / SMEs / stakeholders
● Contributes to emerging ad hoc / special projects
● Pivots quickly to work on emerging project needs
● Presents work / proposals to L&D / Functional Teams
● Participates in Daily GL Communications through Chat & Attend team meetings
● Supports various admin / learning maintenance needs like scheduling meetings & course updates
Qualifications
● Proven Experience
● Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Curriculum Development, Learning Experience Design, Communication, or a related fi eld
● Google Suite - Google Docs, Slides & Sheets (Intermediate+)
● Articulate Storyline, Articulate 360/Rise
● Vyond or similar animation software
● Experience with Learning Experience Platforms (LXP); Degreed a plus
● Learning Management Systems (LMS) and SCORM
● Digital learning apps (e.g., EdApp)
● Experience with AI-driven tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Synthesia a plus
● Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator, UX & Gamifiacation
This is a W2 position.
