Qualifications Under general direction, is responsible for performing professional work in the planning and designing of recreation facilities. Prepares plans, specifications, and cost estimates for parks and recreation facilities; coordinates design projects with private consultants; and supervises the construction and administration of projects. Working conditions are primarily inside an office environment with occasional visits to outdoor sites. Exercises functional supervision over assigned staff.
