We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon to provide locum tenens coverage in Fallon, NV. This is a unique opportunity to practice full-scope orthopedic surgery in a rural community setting with the support of an established surgical team and a predictable monthly schedule. Hospital Details:
·25-bed critical access hospital
·4-bed Medical ICU
·On-site MRI and imaging services
·Annual ED volume: ~17,734 visits
·Outpatient visits: ~81,000 annually
·Clinic: Elective orthopedics, follow-ups, and outpatient consults
·Surgical Mix: Approximately 150 acute and 150 elective cases in year one (target volume = 300 cases/year)
·General orthopedics with a mix of fracture care, joint work, and sports-related injuries
Qualifications:
Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
Active Nevada medical license or ability to obtain
Strong clinical experience in both acute and elective orthopedic cases
Comfortable practicing in a rural or community hospital setting
