Below is the job description for the position:

Position Title: Sr Network Security Specialist

Location: DFW Airport, Texas, 75261 (Fully onsite)

Duration: 12 months (with possible extension)

Need W2 Candidates Only (Not open for C2C)

Requirements:

• 1. Provides security engineering support for the infrastructure and applications across multi-site enterprise and data center environments; including the evaluation, design, implementation and troubleshooting of security infrastructure technologies and solutions to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of Clients and customer assets.
• 2. Protects and secures company resources in the cloud, virtual and physical infrastructures.
• 3. Maintains and administers perimeter security systems such as, but not limited to:

• Firewalls (Cisco, Palo Alto)

• Intrusion Detection / Prevention Systems (Cisco & Palo Alto)

• Web Filtering

• Data Leakage Protection Systems

• Anti-Spam / Anti-Malware (McAfee)

• Server Based and Desktop Anti-Virus Systems (McAfee)

• VPN (Cisco, Palo Alto)

• 4. Assists in the design, install and support of security technologies such as Firewalls, VPN, Network and Host-Based IDS/IPS, SIEM, DLP, Wireless Encryption and Content Filtering.
• 5. Assists in design and monitoring security for routers, switches, operating systems, and other technologies.
• 6. Provides input in analysis of system logs to identify unauthorized user or access.
• 7. Design and validate rules engineering for the various access control chokepoints such as firewalls, VPN etc.
• 8. Provides in-depth customer support for information security incidents including internal violations, hacker attacks, virus and system outages.
• 9. Assists in creating validation process such as alerts or procedural flows.
• 10. Be able to troubleshoot complex network problems and provide prompt resolution to them.
• 11. Cloud’s firewalls knowledge and experience.
• 12. Work on Firewall’s upgrades and improvements.
• 13. Be part of the On-Call rotation.
