Advanced Practice Provider Division Director - Surgical Specialties

Lead the growing team of Advanced Practice Providers with Banner Health in Phoenix, AZ (East/West Valley)!

Banner Health, a Top 5 Large Health System and one of the country's premier non-profit health care networks is expanding its team in Arizona and seeking an Advanced Practice Provider Division Director for Surgical Specialties.

Excellent opportunity for a dynamic NP with strong leadership and Advanced Practice experience.

Our Division APP Director will collaborate with the APPs, Physicians, Division and Section Chiefs, managers, and other local stakeholders to identify opportunities for practice improvement in the areas of clinical quality, patient satisfaction, provider satisfaction, and financial performance. This position will play a key role in ensuring the facility maintains a patient centered focus and will function as a liaison between the APP team and the larger organization. This leader will be a resource for the other APPs in addressing the complexities of clinical practice. Administrative responsibilities and time will be based on division, or service line needs as determined by the Chief Clinical Services Officer.

Qualifications:

• Current AZ license or eligibility
• DEA
• Current CPR, BLS and ACLS
• Minimum of 3 years' experience as an NP with proven leadership skills
• NP with RNFA certificate
  • (Documentation of successful completion of surgical first assistant training as a part of curriculum in their nationally accredited nurse practitioner program OR Attendance at a surgical first assist training course sponsored by ACE, AORN, ANCC, or equivalent as approved by the facility Credentials Committee/Medical Executive Committee)
• Excellent human relations, organizational and communication skills are essential.
• Experience supervising other staff within a medical group or hospital setting.
• Collaborate with APPs to strategize and develop measurable improvements in the quality of clinical care and patient satisfaction.
• Skilled in effectively managing multiple conflicting assignments, demands, and priorities with great attention to detail; coaching and developing direct reports and/or other employees by providing open and honest feedback that results in enhanced performance outcomes.

Practice Details:

• Clinical and administrative responsibilities will be split 50/50
• M - F | 8a -5p ( remote flexibility)
• Call may be required, dependent on needs per clinical division
