Afternoon Nanny for 13 year old –Darien CT

A welcoming family is seeking a responsible and engaging nanny to care for their energetic 13-year-old son after school. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with school-aged children, with the ability to balance structure and fun. We are looking for someone patient, organized, and proactive, who can support homework, encourage positive routines, and foster independence. Comfort with pets is essential, as the family has a friendly small dog in the home.

Compensation & Benefits:

• $30–$35 per hour (Payroll or Cash)

• Guaranteed 15 hours per week

• Long-term commitment

Schedule:

• Monday–Thursday, 4:30 PM – 8:00 PM

Additional Details:

• Start Date: October 27

• Travel Required: Yes (Domestic; Passport required)

Responsibilities:

• Assist with afternoon routines,
• Helping with homework.
• Overseeing piano practice.
• Preparing light meals or snacks.
• Transportation to activities
• Light housekeeping duties, such as tidying up and meal prep.

• Provide a structured and supportive environment to help the child stay on task.

Requirements:

• Must have a valid driver’s license and vehicle
• Must provide 3-5 professional references
• Must be at least 18 years of age to apply 
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S
