\n \n\n \nThe role you'll contribute:
\n \n\n \nThe Inpatient Wound Care RN will be responsible for Inpatient Wound Care oversight, wound/ostomy consultation and management, monitoring of quality indicators, and staff education.This role will participate in the Pressure Ulcer Prevention Committee and serve as a liaison between the Inpatient and Outpatient wound Care/Hyperbarics programs.This includes, but is not limited to, utilization of skills in organization, planning, implementing, evaluating, and providing care through the use of hospital and nursing standards.
\n \n\n \nThe value you'll bring to the team:
\n \n\n \n· Provide initial and ongoing assessment on each assigned wound care patient to include face to face and telephone triage.
\n \n· Provide specialized education and schedule referrals as ordered by providers.
\n \n· Collaborates with other health care providers, wound care center Physicians, and Program Director.
