MANTECH  seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Technical Writer  to join our team. This is a remote position. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Proofread, format, and word-smith technical documents. Must be able to use Microsoft Word.
• Work with the customer and subject matter experts to write documents from their input, desired messages, and outlines.
• Attend decisional meetings; take meeting minutes and highlight Action Items.
• Microsoft PowerPoint construction/re-construction. Candidate will be able to build presentations from pre-existing Microsoft PowerPoint documents. Attention to detail is required to maintain consistent format, language, and messaging.
• Mastery of the English language and grammar is required.
• Strong communication skills are required.
• Ability for the candidate to utilize graphic design principles within PowerPoint is desired.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience.
• Associate’s degree in journalism, communications, English, professional writing, graphic design or similar field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Technical background, especially in Directed Energy.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, English, professional writing, or graphic design.

Security Clearance Requirements:

• Must be a US Citizen and have a current/active Secret clearance.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
• Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
• Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
• Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

The projected compensation range for this position is $61,200.00-$101,700.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
