Leading commercial sheet metal manufacturing shop is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sheet Metal Production Shop Superintendent to oversee all daily production activities in our fabrication shop. You will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of sheet metal fabricators and apprentices to ensure production runs efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. 

Key Responsibilities

• Production Oversight: Plan, coordinate, and supervise all daily sheet metal fabrication activities, including scheduling, material flow, and workflow optimization.
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and provide guidance and training to shop personnel to ensure efficient operations and a high standard of craftsmanship.
• Quality Control: Monitor and inspect work to ensure all products meet industry standards, project specifications, and quality control benchmarks.
• Safety Enforcement: Implement and enforce strict adherence to company safety policies and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
• Resource Management: Manage and maintain shop inventory, materials, and equipment to ensure optimal efficiency and to prevent production delays.
• Interdepartmental Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, field superintendents, and the estimating department to align shop production with project timelines and needs.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of production data, material usage, and labor hours.
