Job Title: Traveling Electrical Technician for Paint Booth Construction

Job Description

We are seeking skilled individuals from an electrical background to join our team in building and repairing paint booths within manufacturing and industrial settings. This role involves following blueprints to ensure accurate electrical installations and may include additional project-related responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical installations for paint booth construction and repairs.
• Follow blueprints to ensure precise electrical setups.
• Travel extensively for 3-6 months at a time to various project sites.
• Utilize hand and power tools effectively for installation tasks.
• Engage in conduit bending, wiring, and switchgear installation.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and perform necessary repairs.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.
• Experience with electrical conduit bending and wiring.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools safely.
• Familiarity with industrial electrical systems and switchgear.
• Capability to troubleshoot and repair electrical issues.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• OSHA 10 certification.
• Journeyman certification in electrical work.
• Scissor lift and fall protection certifications.
• Experience with welding and fabricating is advantageous.
• Any additional equipment operating certifications are beneficial.

Work Environment

Work within manufacturing facilities, typically from Monday to Saturday, averaging 60 hours per week. The role requires extensive travel and working in various industrial settings.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbus, Georgia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
