Job Description

TIG Welder

Perform high-quality TIG welding on stainless steel and other food-grade materials to maintain and repair equipment used in dairy and plant-based product manufacturing. The role also involves supporting the maintenance team and requires mechanical knowledge and experience.

Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality TIG welding on stainless steel and other food-grade materials to maintain and repair equipment used in dairy and plant-based product manufacturing.
  • Fabricate and assemble components for machinery, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
  • Collaborate with engineers and maintenance teams to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
  • Conduct inspections and tests on welds to ensure durability and adherence to industry standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following strict hygiene protocols required in food production environments.
  • Respond to emergency repair needs to minimize downtime in production.
Essential Skills
  • Proficiency in TIG welding.
  • Experience with stainless steel and food-grade materials.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Mechanical knowledge and experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in fabrication and assembly.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Familiarity with industry standards for welding inspections.

Work Environment

The role operates on the 1st shift starting at 6 am in a food production environment. It requires strict adherence to hygiene protocols and involves working with advanced equipment and technologies. This is a Contract position based out of Commerce, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
