We are seeking an experienced and safety-conscious Wheelchair and Student Transportation Driver to join our team! As the Mini Van or Sedan Driver, you will be responsible for the safe operation of the Mini Van, Sedan while adhering to a strict schedule and ensuring your passengers’ well-being. The ideal candidate must have a Driver’s License with a V, F, or S endorsement. If you have an impeccable driving record, high safety standards, and enjoy being around children and elderly people we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities: 

• Pay attention to detail and follow instructions from the manager/supervisor
• Push the patient in a wheelchair onto the transport vehicle
• Bend, kneel, walk, and sit for some time
• Pick up and drop off clients and students at designated home addresses, drop off at designated appointments and school addresses 
• Must be hands-on with clients/students getting into and out of the van to ensure their safety
• Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Conduct regular vehicle safety inspections and report any maintenance or repair issues promptly
• May require maintaining and adding fluid to vehicles as needed to ensure safe working order
• Fuel, sweep & clean vehicle daily
• Assist clients and students with boarding and exiting the van in a safe manner
• Engage with clients and students in a friendly and courteous manner

Qualifications : 

• Driver's license with school V endorsement 
• Clean driving record with no recent accidents or traffic citations
• Ability to pass a drug test
• Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
• Ability to follow GPS directions 
• Ability to stand, bend, sit, and push wheelchair passengers into and out of the van
