Position Details Contract: 1099 independent contracting Hours: Full-time hours (35-40 hours), including indirect time Platform: We work withZoom Plus application (HIPAA/FERPA compliant) Rate: $36-42/hour, depending on experience Requirements Degree: Preferably a Bachelor's in ASL Interpreting or American Sign Language EIPA: 4.0 EIPA performance exam score, or active RID certification, or ESSE evaluation passed, or NAD/ACCI assessment passed Experience: Past SLI teaching experience, with remote experience preferred Set Up: Home computer with camera and microphone functions with strong internet connection, capable of running Zoom or Microsoft Teams Responsibilities Provide synchronous online interpreting for deaf/hard of hearing students. Collaborate with onsite staff and faculty to support student needs. Facilitate in virtual IEP meetings with family and faculty members.
