Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Care Director to lead our early childhood education program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education administration and must have experience working with students in a childcare setting. As the Child Care Director, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and fostering a nurturing environment for both children and staff.

• Supervise and mentor teaching staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their professional development.
• Maintain compliance with state licensing requirements and health regulations, ensuring a safe environment for children.
• Collaborate with parents, guardians, and community members to promote the program and engage families in their children's education.
• Manage administrative tasks including tuition, enrollment, and record-keeping.
• Conduct regular assessments of program effectiveness and make necessary adjustments to improve quality.
• Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages children's growth, creativity, and learning.

Requirements

Requirements

• Proven experience working with students in an educational setting, particularly in childcare or early childhood education programs. Degree preferred but not required.
• Strong understanding of higher education teaching principles and practices is advantageous.
• Excellent computer skills and multitasking skills.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate staff members.
• Exceptional communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, staff, and community partners.
• Knowledge of current trends in early childhood education and child development theories.
• Worked with ABC Quality, DSS, and not required but Quality Counts and First Steps.
