Title: Dispatcher
Base Pay Rate Range: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour, based on experience
Bonus Incentives: Night Shift Differential
Location: Newburgh, NY
Employment Type: part-time available
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, days and nights available, Must have consistent weekend availability.

Responsibilities: - Call Management: Handle high-volume intake calls, prioritize, and dispatch using CAD systems
- Resource Coordination: Determine the appropriate level of care and coordinate transport activities with field EMTs Customer Service: Provide courteous, friendly service to medical facilities, the public, and fellow EMS staff
- Trip Assignment: Assign trips to the appropriate resources based on needs and availability
- Billing Support: Collect patient billing information and assist with pre-billing activities.
- Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications: - High School Diploma / GED Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting
- Preferred Qualifications: 1-2 years of transportation dispatch experience (EMS dispatch preferred), Emergency Medical Technician - EMT experience
- Strong geographical knowledge of service areas
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
- Proficiency in typing (40-45 WPM) and data entry experience
- Familiarity with computer-aided dispatch (CAD) software
